My name is Jakob Safwan, founder of Overblick Studio.
A newly launched studio focused on creating highly detailed 3DGS models and immersive digital representations of real world environments.
Driven by a deep interest in cultural heritage , I am passionate about making important places more accessible, engaging, and future-proof. I believe heritage should not only be experienced by those who can physically visit a site, but also by those who are unable to do so because of personal, practical, or external circumstances.
At the same time, I see digital preservation as increasingly important. Throughout history, we have repeatedly witnessed the loss of cultural heritage through decay, disaster and changing conditions. By using advanced 3D capture and visualization technologies, Overblick Studio aims to help preserve these environments digitally, not only as records of what exists today, but as living experiences that can educate, inspire, and remain accessible for generations to come.
